Personal and Non commercial Use Limitation. This Site is for personal, non commercial use. The Old Telephone Exchange Bed and Breakfast Terms & Conditions
The Old Telephone Exchange accepts cash as well as the following method of payment.
Cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card issued by a major United Kingdom Bank.
CANCELLATION:
If unfortunately needed to cancel your reservation within 21 days of your planned arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of your stay with us, should we be unable to, after trying our up most, to resell the accommodation. It is your responsibility to ensure that you take out holiday insurance and that it covers cancellations in the United Kingdom.
Check in/Check out:
Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival.
Rooms are to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Children:
Children over the age of 10 years can bee accommodated at no discounted price and must share the room with an adult. This is subject to availability.
Single Supplements:
Where a double or twin room is book for single occupancy a discount of 10% can be applied to the room price. This is subject to availability.
Dogs:
Sorry The Old Telephone Exchange cannot accept dogs.
Prices:
We reserve the rights to vary the rates quoted, without notice at any time. The Room rate quoted includes choices from the Breakfast menu and all services and VAT unless otherwise stated. E&OE.
Deposits and Prepayments:
All bookings are required to be guaranteed by a deposit of 25% of the total booking per room. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. In the event of non arrival the FULL AMOUNT OF YOUR BOOKING WILL BECOME LIABLE. It is recommended that you check that your holiday insurance covers breaks taken in the United Kingdom. Seasonal, special offer and Special Interest Breaks will require a different deposit amount at the time of booking. All balances are due on departure unless paid at time of booking.
Property Details:
We reserve the right to change the Bed and Breakfast details without notice.
Breakages or Damages:
In the unlikely event that breakages occur, please let us know about it before you leave. The Client is legally bound to reimburse the owner for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs involved.
Data Protection:
The Old Telephone Exchange does not and will never pass your information to any third party without your prior authorisation. Our mailings are issued periodically, if you do not wish to receive this information, please contact us on 01263 712992.
Complaints:
We try our utmost to ensure that your stay at The Old Telephone Exchange is an enjoyable and memorable one. However, with the best will in the world, sometimes errors and oversights are made. Therefore, should there be any cause for complaint during your stay, we would like you to notify us as promptly, to allow us time to rectify the situation as soon as possible. Any serious problems must be confirmed in writing directly to the Proprietors. If you see a problem or are dissatisfied, please tell us about it.

The Old Telephone Exchange Self Catering Accommodation Terms & Conditions
The Old Telephone Exchange accepts cash as well as the following method of payment.

Contract:
This contract is for short-term holiday rentals of the 2 person and 4 person units, which form part of The Old Telephone Exchange, and is between Mr and Mrs Manders the proprietors of The Old Telephone Exchange and the client. Any issues arising under the contract should be addressed to Mr and Mrs Manders, The Old Telephone Exchange, 37, New Street, Holt, Norfolk. NR25 6JH. He contract will be entered into on receipt of a non-refundable deposit and will be subject to the following terms and conditions. The confirmation letter will set out the period and price of the hire of the units and will repeat some, but not all the terms and conditions. The client should check the confirmation letter carefully.

Tariff:
The prices quoted in the tariff are inclusive of the supply of a welcome pack, bed linen, towels, and the usage of gas, electric, and water.
Period of Hire:
Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified, at 4pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10am on the day of departure.
Use of Property:
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed either two (2) persons in unit 1or four (4) persons in unit 2. The property will be used for personal and domestic purposes only. The property shall not be used for commercial purposes without written consent. The property shall not be used for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. The right is reserved to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.
Breakages or Damages:

Care of Property:
The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them clean and tidy and in the same state of repair and condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning.
Right of Entry:
The owners shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carryout any necessary repairs or maintenance or in case of emergency.

Liability:
He owners shall not be liable to the client or third parties for any accident, loss, injury expense or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the rental. No term of contract is enforceable under the Contracts (Right of The Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to the contract. If a property that the client has booked becomes unavailable or unusable for some reason, then the obligation will be (1) provide a suitable alternative property, or failing which (2) to return to the client the appropriate monies paid for that property.
